Today I saw THREE baby Moorhens on Lollycocks pond, so we have not lost one as I had feared. There are still one or two Mallards with what looks like 1-2-3 day old Ducklings around Have you ever wondered what the eyes of a Dragonfly look like… Terry

A adult Moorhen with babies saw a small duckling getting too close for comfort, so it attacked the duckling which dived under water, the Moorhen was waiting for it to come back to the surface when I saw something dark travelling fast out of the corner of my eye.
