Still no Moorhens on Lollycocks pond, I dont know what has happened to them but I doubt very much that something has happened to all of them, so hopefully they are in the reeds somewhere ?
I did see the Kingfisher twicw today 
and a Sparrowhawk.
Its 2 years since they drained Lollycocks Pond…
…I dont know when they are going to restock it but the longer it is the better as far as I am concerned (= no fishermen) Its the ONLY Nature Reserve that I know of that encourages fishing (when there are fish in there obviously).
