There was NOTHING on Lollyocks pond this morning, not even the 2 teenager Moorhens it looked just like it had been abandoned, hopefully the Moorhens were just hanging around somewhere nearby. I did see the (a) Kingfisher this morning though, its the first time I have seen him for weeks, but that isnt surprising...

Not much water…

Not much water in the Slea past Cogglesford Mill there is only a few inches and no water has gone over the weir to the old Slea (near Leisure Centre Bridge) for months. I saw both Teenager Moorhens on Lollycocks Pond again but no Dabchick although he was apparently seen over the weekend. Here...

I think I have got to come to 2 conclusions… 1. Stifflegs wont be around any more as I have not seen him for months, it would be nice to see him again but I am not optimistic in that at all now 2. There is probably only 1 Teenager Moorhen on Lollycocks pond...
