Today I saw THREE baby Moorhens on Lollycocks pond, so we have not lost one as I had feared.

There are still one or two Mallards with what looks like 1-2-3 day old Ducklings around :)

    Hi Terry, long time no chat on this site. Just to let you know I have just walked along the Slea and saw a pair of Tufted Ducks between the swimming pool bridge and the bend in the river going towards Cogglesford Mill. Whether they stay and breed I suppose we will have to wait and see. (Saw on Mon 22 June at 1755 hours).

    Hi Graham, thanks for the update and very interesting it is also :) I will not be down until later in the week but will look out for the Tuffties ‘just in case’ they are still around.
