I was shown a broken window which apparently was used by vandals to get into the Mill, I was told that they trashed quite a bit of it inside 
It looks bad enough to me that the Police will have to take it seriously and try and find the culprits as opposed to just putting it down on their ‘stats’.
4-8-6-3 I saw 4 of the 6 babies downstream of the LC bridge, I also saw both parents so it looks like they have lost 2 Further downstream I saw 8 of the nine babies, so I am unsure if this family has lost any babies or not. Nearer to the Mill I only saw 6 of the 10 that were there last week. These were spread over quite an area so they may (or may not) be more than 6 still surviving. Also pleased that all 3 Moorhen babies on the pond are still doing well 
Some of the early ducklings are getting almost fully grown, but there are also some ducklings that are only a day or so old on the Slea…
