6-8-10-3 -The number of Moorhen babies in each family that I saw today 
The first 6 had 6 last week so we have not lost any of these. The 8 family had 9 last week but they are spread out quite a bit making counting hard, I *think* I saw 9 but can only definitely say 8, but hopefully all 9 are still ok. Last week near the Mill I saw (from memory) 6 babies but today there were 10, this is the most baby Moorhens I have seen in any 1 brood before. I also saw 3 babies on Lollycocks pond which I think is the first wildlife that I know of to breed since they cleaned it out.
