I am still not sure what or if anything has happened to the 5 baby Moorhens towards the Mill. They were again not on the water but an Adult Moorhen is sitting on the nest and there may be some babies underneath it ????
The Moorhen that had 11 Eggs has had at least 8 babies so I have been told, there are not anymore eggs in the nest but I only saw 1 today but it was obvious that mum was sitting on some, so it will probably be a few days before I see all of them to count how many there actually are.
