Interesting day, I saw the two swans Graham mentioned and took a photo of both of their left hand side beaks so that I can try and see if they have been on the Slea before, I will post my finding either later today or possible tomorrow.
I saw the Dabchick near Monstrosity Bridge and there was also quite a few Goldfinches and Long Tailed Tits in the trees etc, but I watched this guy for almost 10 minutes which was very interesting…

… yes a weasel but in a slightly different place to where I saw one the other day, so I am not sure if this is the same one or a different one ?

UPDATE
Having looked through my records for 2007 and 2008 I can find no images of swans on the Slea that have matching markings on their beaks to the two newly arrived swans, I can only therefore surmise that these particular swans have not visited the Slea before (at least not at the times and days when I have been observing the Slea wildlife)
