One of the Car Park Attendants told me that he witnessed a dog kill a Duck on the Slea over the weekend
It just amazes me the way some owners just do not seem to care
I had another good view of the Kingfisher today, but when Monstrosity Bridge opens (yes it is STILL closed) and people walk more often on the other bank, then I think that the Kingfisher will not use this part of the Slea as often. The two swans were still around as was Stifflegs, I did not see the Dabchick though.
I have not taken many photos along the Slea recently so here is a Goldfinch from my garden feeders…

Hi Terry,
I thought you might like to know I saw 2 dabchicks yesterday afternoon (sunday). One was up by the church going towards Sainsbury’s and very soon after I saw the other up towards Coggesford Mill by the bend in the river. Nice to see the pair of Swans staying for a while.

Hi Graham, thanks for the update
Mel has also seen a Dabchick in Town and then seen the other one near the LC Bridge a little while later, so its good to have your confirmation also
