Amazing view of the Kingfisher today 
I watched for almost 10 minutes and saw him dive and catch a fish twice
I also saw Stiff Legs and Tube Duck but didnt see the Dabchick or anything else unusual. Dick told me that he saw a Dabchick yesterday along the stretch of the Slea that goes through the town. I doubt (but have no other proof) that this is the same Dabchick that we see downstream of the Leisure Centre as he would have to negotiate the weir at Carre Street, he could obviously do that easy but he seems to stay in the same stretch most of the time.
This is a Moorhen on the Slea-Old Slea weir just downstream of the LC Bridge…
