This morning there was a duck with a clear plastic tube over its lower beak, it cannot feed and probably cannot drink either. Mel went home and got a net and we tried to catch it but couldn’t 
I rang Neil (EA) who has a direct number for the local RSPCA and he said he would pass the message on to them. The Duck will die a horrible death unless the plastic tube can be removed 
The Swan and Coot were still on the pond and the Dabchick was in the reeds on the Slea as usual.
