The Swan is back and here he/she is having a bath this morning…
…I do not think we have seen this Swan on the Slea before as he seems young, probably just over a year old (2007 cygnet), as he has not got a very big ‘knob’ at the top of his beak which is also quite pale as a youngsters is.
The Dabchick was on the open river first thing but then went back to the reeds.
We also have a COOT on Lollycocks Pond, I do not think it is the one we had until recently as this one is quite a bit more nervous than he was.
