The results are back from the Lab regarding what caused the waterlogging of the Ducks, Dabchicks etc, they do need to be interpreted and understood but hopefully by the end of the week we should know more. I didnt see any duck with an obvious problem today near the Hub, this can a little misleading as its only when the ducks get wet that you can see the problem, but its looking good.
The Dabchick was still around but hiding in the reeds and I saw TWO Kingfishers today, one chasing the other so I am unsure whether it was male and female chasing each other or two males doing ‘battle’. Although a very long way away this was one of them this morning…
