Things are a bit better on the Slea today BUT there are still quite a few affected Ducks on the green outside the Hub. Although some of these look ok when dry they still get waterlogged when they go in the water, however there are certainly more ducks on the water now that show no signs of waterlogging.
Good news for the Coot and one remaining Tuffted Duck as they seemed to have completely recovered this morning 
I think the seven Dabchicks and seven Tufted Ducks that we have lost were affected more than the Mallards because they both DIVE in the water to get food, if waterlogged they will obviously find it harder to re-surface and I would think most have probably drowned
