Not much happening today but I did see the two Tufties and the Coot and all was well with them. There is still more ducks than normal on the Hub green so it looks like some of them are still affected, but the number seems to get smaller each day.
I have been told by the E.A. (thanks 
) that some of the ducks that were taken away because they were waterlogged have been returned to the Slea Originally the young Dabchick was also going to be released back on the Slea, but near to where he/she was taken to for treatment, is another young Dabchick on its own, so it was decided to release ours with this one and apparently they are getting on well
I am hoping to get a picture from the banks of the Slea this weekend that is a little different than what I normally show, but I will keep it as a surprise Here is a close up of a Butterfly and you can see its proboscis entering a flower…
