We may have lost 1 of the baby Dachicks but its too early to be completely sure. I saw both adult Dabchicks and just 3 babies and this was with 3 ‘passes’ looking for them with some time between each ‘pass’. Just keep my fingers crossed that the other one was in the reeds somewhere ?
The Coot is still on the nest and the other adult and teenager were nearby.
