Sadly, I am convinced that we have lost 1 of the Dabchick babies. On Monday I only saw 3, on Tuesday Alan only saw 3 and today I only saw 3 babies and 2 adults, so what happened to the fourth is anybodies guess 
Near to where the Dabs originally nested I saw a small Water Vole, as it was small I assume (and hope) that it is a young one and that we have more breeding of Voles along the Slea 
The Coot is still on its nest so no dogs can have gone in the river there recently, lets hope that continues.
