I am a little bit worried about ‘one eye’ in that after 4 passes along the banks (2 round trips) I didn’t see ‘one eye’ at all, which is unusual ? I hope he was just hiding somewhere but as he cannot see very well out of one eye he is susceptible to an attack by a dog which he just has not seen. I will keep my eyes and hopefully see him again in the next few days.
I saw ‘stiff legs’ and our lone duckling today, also both Coots and a Kingfisher past the Mill.
