Today I was mainly looking if the 3 Dabchicks were still around downstream of the railway bridge past Cogglesford Mill. On the way I saw the Heron and 2 Kingfishers, then there was a ‘whoosh’ ‘whoosh’ over head which was the 3 Swans coming back to the Slea and then I saw the 3 Dabchicks 
They are very shy though as they swam away when I got to within about 100 yards of them, so not to disturb them I turned around and went back.
This Robin sometimes sits on the gate to the field past the Mill waiting for a little nourishment
