The Slea is becoming ‘Dabchick city’
Alan and I saw all 5 Dabchicks between the Hub and the Mill this morning, then Mel told us what he had seen past the Mill, so all 3 of us went down stream of the Mill, under the railway bridge and along further until we saw THREE more Dabchicks
As we approached these 3 they swam away from us further downstream which shows to me that these 3 are not used to man as the other 5 are because under most circumstances they ignore anyone walking up and down the river bank. How long these 3 will stay is anybodies guess, I just hope it is for a long time
