The Moorhens are fighting quite a bit at the moment… …apart from the normal territory fights the parents of this years youngsters are trying to ‘persuade’ them to leave so that they can mate again in the Spring. Only saw 4 dabchicks today plus the one past the Mill, so 2 have possibly gone ??? [...]
