Although we are down to only 1 surviving baby Dabchick we still have 3 adults, namely our 2 parents and 1 of the ‘new’ pair is still around but has been chased by our parents on a number of occasions, it would be nice if he/she stayed though.
The 3 baby Moorhens are still doing well near the Leisure Centre and today I also saw 2 more baby Moorhens down past Cogglesford Mill, these seemed to be only a day or 2 old. Â Also one Moorhen is also possibly sitting on eggs near Cogglesford bend 
 Only time will tell if she is actually sitting on eggs or not.
