UPDATE: The Dabchicks seem to be moving…
UPDATE: The Dabchicks seem to be moving as the water level at their nest site has almost gone making the nest more accessible to cats, rats and people. I just hope where they end up is really safe for the 3 remaining little ones. Terry
Sadly we have lost another one…
Sadly we have lost another baby Dabchick overnight, so there are now just 3 out of the five babies still surviving. There is also no indication of how we have lost 2 in the last 24 hours, it could be cats, rats, getting into too fast a current and being swept away or even a [...]
