The more I think about it…

The more I think about it, the more doubts come to mind about the Dabchicks and whether they will be able to bring up a family once the water level of the Slea has gone down when the nest will then be on dryland. I think I saw an egg in the nest yesterday, but when the waters recede will the Dabchicks be able to defend any eggs/babies against predators ? Probably the biggest danger will come from CATS and rats and I just cant see the Dabchicks winning this one, I really hope I am wrong.

On a more happy note I saw a water vole today past Cogglesford Mill…
