…who are the 3 remaining baby Moorhens of 6, but they are getting bigger, Mum is incubating the next batch of 6 eggs already.
I am now convinced that we have lost a baby Moorhen further upstream, so they now have just the 6 babies, but everyday that passes means they are getting that much bigger and more able
