I saw this on the banks of the Slea this afternoon… …ok, its a VERY BAD photo of a STOAT. I saw it at Cogglesford bend near to where we have recently lost the 2 baby Coots and 1 baby Moorhen, so I wonder if this is the culprit ? I cant quite bring myself [...]
Interesting behaviour…
I saw some interesting behavior today… The female coot (who has lost her 2 babies) went a little upstream and unsurprisingly the coot who is there started to attack her as it was in his/her territory. She was chased back downstream until she was passed Cogglesford bend, but still being harrassed by the other coot. [...]
